Hi,

I recently installed opencart 2.2.0.0 with paypal standard set as my payment method and successfully tested some purchases using paypal sandbox. On the main admin dashboard page under "recent activity", I can see the orders I made but when i go to Sales->Orders on the dashboard menu, it shows displays "No Results!".

What could be the issue?

Try filtering by missing orders, maybe their status wasnt updated by paypal. I made some sandbox tests a couple of days ago and it worked fine.

HI, I have the same problem. I used Paypal standard to make the order and I didn't receive any Order Confirmation e-mail, I don't have any record in Order Histroy (store front) and no record in "Order" (admin).

I don't know how to use sandbox.

I'm using 2.2

Set your site under maintenance from your admin - > systems - > settings - > edit store - > server tab - > Maintenance Mode: On and switch your PayPal Standard Payment module to debug mode: You can also switch to sandbox but may not guarantee the full results as the production (live) would result.

Test an order from checkout with PayPal Standard. Once the checkout completed, view your error logs from your admin - > systems - > tools - > error logs page if you have any recent action by date-time from pp_standard.php file.

Goto extensions/payments and edit your paypal payments standard then using the dropdown set sandbox to yes

Go to the paypal developer website, log in. Then go to the dashboard > sandbox > accounts and create 2 accounts if you dont allready have them, a seller and a buyer account.
Then get the seller email and in admin of opencart at paypal standard, put it in the email fields, enable sandbox mode and then get to making some test orders (when paying the orders, use the sandox buyer account). While you are ordering, make sure the website is off maintenance so paypal can reach the payment callback url and confirm the order (that is the point when you receive confirmation email).

I am using the sandbox test and the order is ok with the status "Pending", however, when in live mode, the order status is "cancelled" and dropped into "missing order".
there is no error log about the pp_standard.

Do you know how to fix this problem ?

Have you either verified in the admin - > systems - > tools - > error logs page and / or on the admin - > extensions - > payments - > PayPal Standard - > logs tab?

I think I will disable the Paypal Standard and use Paypal Express instead. Thanks a lot.

Missing orders dont have status at all. So if the order status is indeed canceled you might yout to check the order status settings from the paypal standard settings.
