Hi,

We are running Opencart version 2.0.1.1 and we are having problems with peoples shopping carts not emptying after they have placed an order which in turn makes them order the same items again on their next order if they aren't careful, we have had this issue for a while.

We allow debit/credit card payments and we also use paypal express checkout which uses our paypal pro.

This issue only happens for some customers, we seem to think its that after completing an order then a customer might not be directed back to the correct page, or that a customer has to click back onto the site for it to clear the cache after an order, no idea.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. We are having a similar problem.

Over the past number of weeks we have received various calls from different customers complaining that their shopping cart did not clear after they placed their last order?

This error is random and is not affecting every customer nor is it happening on every order. We have tried in vain to replicate the error so are very confused as to why this is happening?

Your help would be much appreciated as our customers are becoming quite frustrated .... especially if they don't realize the error before entering their new order!!

Did you find a solution??

I have this problem appeared after moving the hosting to AWS (Amazon) store Opencart version 2.3
I do not use paypal, but notifications do not come to customers by email, the message on the completion of the order does not appear, the goods remain in the basket! What to do? How is it connected with moving to a new hosting?

Have you tried clearing and refreshing the caches? What payment module are you using?

yes, opencart, ocmod & vqmod cache cleaned. I use X-Shipping Pro & X-Payment ( https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... n_id=16593 ) but before migration to new hosting all work fine. Where find this error?

It could be anything really, file permission, SSL certificate, etc.

Try switching on any debug messages in the payment modules and checking your error logs, including the standard php error log. Put through some test transactions to see what's happening and where a customer ends up after payment and if there are any errors.

You could also try enabling one of the simple payment such as Cash On Delivery, and see if that works OK.
