I need to print a canada-post compliant shipping label from opencart. Or export the data somehow and import it into canada post's online thing. I am so tired of looking at pages of sketchy-looking extensions, for something that should be built-in. If somebody places an order, it stands to reason that you need to send the thing to them. So why can't I find a way to easily print a shipping label?

You can print a full shipping list from orders in back end but not sure on labels

Yeah it doesn't really print, it just shows the shipping info, which is in no way formatted for making a label, even manually.

I am naive on what you are asking....

Are you just wanting to have it be like:

John Doe
123 West Big street
New York, New York 12303

and print on what?

Or do you wish to have it do something else like export into the shipping company?

I can tell you there are a LOT of people who take payments by paypal and use paypal's shipping interface to ship so I don't how other folks do it.

Update, I got it even to quick-check work, fundamentally, on my v.1.5.6.5_rc,
after renaming all those portugese coded:
'{firstname}',
'{lastname}',
'{company}',
'{address_1}',
'{address_2}',
e.t.c.,to english/default-Values, in the VqMod File. and adding most all (active) values available
But since it seems to be the only free version, what the heck... :D
or possibly, I just downloaded from wrong language version.

Thank you to mention me as the author of the extension. I invite you to provide your extension in OpenCart.com in your language or country. Any information for other users, please ask in the module page.

thanks for the nice offer, I will work on this! I forgot about, but someone was
looking for such a Mod, so I recalled it. But it took a good while,
to find my stuff again on one of my Disks, since I renamed the files... 8)

I just fixed my OC v-1.5.6.x Version, and implemented the missing
Link-Section into the VqMod, to 'display in/handle' the admin/view/template/sale/order_info.tpl
linkwise, and soon, I will have the english v.1.5.6.x Version at least on my free OC Extension Page.

Best regards,
Ernie
