Hi

I am trying to upload a extension and gets the following Error.

The error is displayed in a popup window and it is not possible to copy the text. I then did two screen dumps to be able to show the error. There can be some duplicated texts.

What to do???

Check here first:
http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... =FTP%20Fix

If you find no solution, come back and inform us about:
1. OC Version ?
2. (failed) Extension Name, possibly Link to Ext.Page, usable for wich OC Versions ?
3. OC Admin FTP Settings ?
to possibly enable someone to assist!

Sorry. I am new to this,,, and will try to be more "clear" in the future.

I did not find ant fix that seems relevant for me.

1. OC Version 2.0.3.1
2. Extension is EasyBlogSimple version 2.0,,, which should be compatible with OC 2.0.3.1
3. FTP Setting:
a) FTP is on,,
b) Host, Port, Username, Password is given to me by my Internet provider. Works with a logon using a FTP application.
c) FTP root is left blank.

Hope this helps,,, to help me :)

backup first this file
admin/controller/extension/installer.php

Replace it with the attached file. Click on the clear button first, then upload again the extension.

Thanks.

Worked well. No problems at all.

Shall I keep the new install.php script or restore the old one?

Just keep it, the new install.php write files locally instead of ftp. You might need it if you install other extensions.

That might explain it, there should be an entry for the FTP root.
