on my store I replaced the opencart store logo to a different one but the problem is this, the new logo appears small but it is originally a large logo, so I would like to know what element or style or function in opencart cpanel do I have to change to make the actual size appear. I am using journal theme on opencart v2

Maybe your theme causes this problem. Could you provide your site URL so we can take a look at the problem closer?

Thanks a lot for your replies @rjcalifornia and @viethemes, The link you referred me to unfortunately isn't the same as the situation, I am in. Here is the link to my website so you can have a look at the logo and how small it is, note when you click view actual image the larger size of the logo appears but in this case it shrinks when I upload the logo as my store logo.

here is my website : http://bit.ly/2rmJnUZ or https://goo.gl/kEJuUF whichever works best.

I would really appreciate some solution. Thanks

Well, looks like you need to change the CSS of the theme to increase the store logo. I was able to increase the logo to any size I wanted with the solution posted above.

I know that's the problem but the question now is which css file exactly do I change and what attribute?

Hello ,
I review your website, you are using journal theme.
I checked in source code its adding size statically in logo tag.
Either it can be done by apply important css or it can be done from files of template.
If you are non technical you can hire some developer for this its a very small task.

Best Regards

Can anyone have a look at the website and give pointers on how to change the element / css preventing the logo from displaying its full size?

Am I asking this question in the wrong thread or forum? isn't this the opencart forum? is this the support segment? I am surprised that no one has even bothered giving any suggestions on how to go about this. I thought this is a forum where you can come to for help regarding opencart related issues.

It is not that. Instead of changing the CSS of the core files, make the modifications to the CSS files of the Journal Theme. However, since such theme is commercial, we cannot know exactly where the logo size is being set.

I suggest contacting the theme developer

help regarding opencart related issues

Well, for some, it's obviously hard to understand, that Issues, related to Custom OC Themes
and/or Extensions, have nothing to do with OpenCart, and this forum is not a place to 'handle'
commercially offered Extensions and Themes, as long as they have and get their own Support.

But some will probably just not be able to use the 'official' Seller Support, without
beeing registered Buyer of such a Theme / Extension. And such can make it hard
to then find a helping hand, just for the plain fun of it, and with sure nothing in return in sight.
---
But it's nothing personal, and no offense, it's just the 'only' way it works, on longer 'terms' at least ...
And just one explanation attempt, why one possibly repeatedly 'ignores' the advise, to use the
Seller-channel.... ::)
