Upgrade from 1.4.7 to 1.5.1.3 success but...

The front page works great. New module system is in place, however, if you click on any of the products, you get a blank screen. If I try to login, I also get a blank screen.

Here are the steps I took:

PRE:
Installed a fresh 1.4.7 version in a test directory that points a database with all the imported data from the current "live" store. Store functions great on 1.4.7. That also ensured that I didn't have any 3rd party modules to conflict with (USPS Live and Auth.net AIM/SIM to be exact). Now to the upgrade!

1. Ran upgrade script beta v2 (every single step followed)
2. Successful db upgrade screen at step 11.
3. Did steps 12-16 with no errors and it appeared exactly as the upgrade text file said it would.
4. Added the modules to Home and Default
5. Clicked on a product. URL changes, but nothing happens. No code.

ADDENDUM: The Category listing on the home page works, but when you click a specific product, it fails.

If someone can point me in the right direction, that would be rad - I'm looking at you Q :

Appears to be a php error triggering but hidden.
1. EDIT: index.php

2. FIND: 3. AFTER ADD: Then reload the product page and look for the error

Hey Q,

Added the error reporting code you posted and still nothing. I don't know what is going on. It seems like the error reporting should do something.

If you need access, I can give you the FTP information and maybe I'm just overlooking something really simple.

I am not very technical so would appreciate any kind of help to resolve this problem.

I upgraded from 1,4.9 using Softaculous and installation was reported a "success".

I have not add-ons as this is a fresh site.

sorry made a mistake.

I just checked. Actually I updated from v1.5.1.2 to 1,5,1.3 but am getting the blank screens when I click on any product or when I do an "add to cart".

Please advice what should I do?

Should I just do a clean installation?

It's ok. I have resolved the issue. I deleted the software and did a clean installation and everything works fine.

Update: I overwrote all of the 1.5.1.3 files with 1.5.1 and it works great now. So, I'm going to try uploading the files for 1.5.1.3 again and see if one of the files just didn't upload correctly.
