Hi

I have been searching for a way to fix this error. In the upgrade file it says,
ERROR: Items won't add to cart. Animation shows but cart remains empty.
SOLUTION: This is due to the products not having a legitimate weight class or length class. The upgrade can cause this, or it was missing for some languages. Verify that there is a weight class and length class for each language you have on your site. Also be sure that the product have actual product ids set. Edit and resave them and see if the add to cart works correctly.
I don't understand how to verify there is a weight and length class for each language. In the admin side, on the first tab I can see swedish and english. But on the tab where there is length and weight, it only shows 1 language. And there is a value in each of them.

Sorry if I am really really dumb but I just don't get it. I also tried to search on the forum with the same header as for this post and didn't get any searches.

Can someone please help on this?

Thanks!
Vimal.

Hi Vimal,

I just tried adding to cart on your site and it worked fine - when you view cart they were all there. They were just not showing up when you clicked Add to Cart because of the problem you were having with the Ajax add to cart. I've replied how to fix that on your other post.

0 items in shopping cart
Total: Kr 0.00

Just tested it again and it works for me. I tried in both Firefox and Internet Explorer 8 without any problems. What browser are you using?

Doesn't work for me in FF either.

For the weight and length class issue.... You should see a field for all installed languages. Both tabs need a Weight Title and Unit. Click "Save" just to be sure it updates for each of the 4 weight classes and 3 length classes

Hi Q,

In each product page in the admin section there are the following tabs

General
Data
Links
Option
Discount
Special
Image

Only in the general tab can I see Swedish and English.

On the data tab where there is length and weight class, I don't get the two language tabs.

Any idea what is wrong?

I see you've been changing the template - but adding to cart still works for me. Have no idea how to help I'm afraid as I can't replicate the problem.

I solved it. It is actually under the localization section and not in each product that you need to add the weight and length class.

Thanks Vimal , this actually did solve the problem , however is there any way to still make the cart working without worrying about entering the dimensions and the weight ?
