why you want to change it? nobody will see that except you, but if you want to change the logo, here you need to do:

go to your admin folder and change the logo image at: view/image/logo.png

Find and get many various of opencart modules, themes, mods, etc for your opencart store at http://www.openmycart.com/oc/, OPENCART SITE customization and Maintenance supports at here

i think he wanted to change the logo to his own company logo so that his client(s) does not know it's opencart.

easiest way to do this would be just to replace the main logo for admin site:

Code: Select all

/public_html/admin/view/image/logo.png
for footer, edit the file:

Code: Select all

/public_html/admin/language/english/common/footer.php

I don't know much about PHP...~~
Don't know much about JQuery...~~
But I do know that I love OC!~~
and I know that if you'd guide me, what a wonderful world this would be...!~~

oh yeah 1 more thing, since opencart is also documented in the header menu under "Help", you may also want to consider taking out this code:

Code: Select all

<li id="help"><a class="top"><?php echo $text_help; ?></a>
      <ul>
        <li><a onclick="window.open('http://www.opencart.com');"><?php echo $text_opencart; ?></a></li>
        <li><a onclick="window.open('http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=documentation/introduction');"><?php echo $text_documentation; ?></a></li>
        <li><a onclick="window.open('http://forum.opencart.com');"><?php echo $text_support; ?></a></li>
      </ul>
    </li>
from this file:

Code: Select all

/public_html/admin/view/template/common/header.tpl
I haven't tried this myself, but I think it should work.

of course i know how to make it done easily, but i just suggest to all not to change it as your recognition/respecting to OpenCart.
