Move OpenCart installation to local host for testing

I am trying to move my OpenCart installation from server to localhost. What is the best method of doing this? I tried it, but I am getting token errors.

just a copy of the files over to local server and change the config files. You're done! No problem on that. If you're getting invalid token error, it isn't anything wrong with the codes or whatsoever. It's just a security feature

I did exactly what MarketInSG said and had few errors, but there were mostly due to incorrect permission on the folders. So perhaps check those.
