Hi,

So had a web company build us a website in 2013, we use openbaypro for Amazon / Ebay integration.

Over the years we have edited the design and added options.

Now the web company are starting to say we need to look to upgrade... for a very high cost...

I have a strong opinion of why fix it if it's not broken...

They are telling me opencart may pull the plug on our current version anytime. Does anyone know the answer to this / what peoples recommendations are ?

Opencart doesn't pull the plug, only customers will based on the mount of errors a store could have due to lack of maintenance. As for the upgrade purposes, the reason why we do need to upgrade is for compatibility and compliancy reasons. A store can be upgraded for a reasonable fee and even be done for free when getting used to it.

If you'd like to upgrade your store professionally, you can always submit a new request in the Commercial Support section of the forum to get this done as a custom job.

Dedication and passion goes to those who are able to push and merge a project.
