Where are they now?

Before there used to be controls to change font color, font background, etc. Now I only see few of them.

Please see image.

Thank you, I tried that solution and didn't work for me. Hopefully another one will.

I just tried it on a fresh installation of OpenCart v1.5.6, and it's working just fine...

Well, that's a way different topic than this one... :)

But briefly, you'll need to make all the modifications from scratch, and import all the data you have...

For several reasons, primarily relating in both 1.5.5.1 and 1.5.6.0 to consequences obvious and subtle, alike, and here partly relating to what seems missing in the editor, go to ckeditor.com/download/ and obtain the Full current package, then put the entirety of that in the /admin/view/javascript/ckeditor directory. You can back up the existing one if you wish by the simple expedient of either renaming the directory and making a new ckeditor/, or making an old/ directory, drag-dropping the old into that, and either way then plopping new into ckeditor/. If you don't see enough customary controls, then you probably are looking at Standard rather than Full, with Full they are there in all their splendor, some still require variously left- and right-clicking to reach.

I used Easy Script Installs (or Softaculous in other cPanels) to install OpenCart. I was planning on backup everything and then delete and re-install from Easy Script Installs and start again doing all modifications.

I was wondering if you know a link here in the forum with a guide of installing from scratch and restoring everything I had in the old version, headers, footers, products, etc.

Thanks for you quick responses.

You can still download the .zip files for prior versions, if you wish to start with original OC files of specific vintage. Custom files would require instead their own sources, and if done by hand anyway would then require redoing them. You will find yourself strung between function that works and appearances that aren't back in place, so remind yourself as you suffer that of what your priorities are for the particular installation (e.g., ongoing business or parkable other).

Each OC .zip has in it a directory /upload/ whose entire contents can be sent via ftp to the server. You want to be careful not to overwrite existing functional config.php files, and to reinstate /vqmod/ if you use that. Both have an installer index.php, and remember to delete that for OC itself when it is not needed (you can put it back into place from /upload/ if you have subsequent need for it, but on the server it is a supreme vulnerability).

Just to update this thread, the solution of copying the whole folder worked. I downloaded the full version and renamed the folder in the server.

Now... I guess the cache has to be deleted in order for the site to detect the change. Now its working with ALL the controlls, best!

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!!!!!

Good. Go ahead and mark your opening title Solved, although it seems to dribble off to the right already.
