Can probably file this under the stupid question heading...
but what I'm trying to find out is about the Paypal "Test (Sandbox) Mode"
My store has just gone live but I still want to make a few test purchases to see and tweak how certain pages look.
Does having "Test (Sandbox) Mode" >> "Yes" cause any problems for regular customers?
Appreciate any insight, thanks.

Appreciate your response. Although I had read that info before, I went over it again and still did not find a definitive answer so I reduced the price of an item to a dollar and made an attempt at a real purchase. This seemed more viable than waiting days for an answer from Paypalkestas wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2017 2:39 pmHi, read this. https://developer.paypal.com/docs/class ... rk=Sandbox
This confirmed that the "Test (Sandbox) Mode" >> "Yes" overrides all sales attempts as I was not able to complete a normal sale. So you can't have both working at the same time. Once that was switched to "no" the sale went through without difficulty.
Thanks again for your reference.
Which OC version and which PayPal payment module?

Lots of changes has been made on the PayPal Express module in the latest release from Opencart Github since the past few days. Followed is a topic that confirms those reflected changes including those you are declaring on your first post even though you are using a v2.x release of Opencart: viewtopic.php?f=198&t=186887#p706868

After payment with debit/credit card module, an order confirmation page is not shown, and the customer gets redirected to the homepage without knowing whether the order went through or not. When, in the checkout, customers choose to pay with a credit/debit card, they are redirected to the homepage after they click pay now button.
