PayPal Communication Query

Hi

Just a quick question. Opencart 2.3.0.2 PayPal modules in general.

Once the initial payment has been taken with PayPal does PayPal have any further interaction with Opencart? My query is this... I refunded partial order via PayPal a few weeks after. It's come back up in Opencart as a refunded order... I wasn't aware they had further communication.

Also is there anyway for it to come up as "Partial Refund" or anything like this?

Assuming you're referring to the PayPal Express module for partial refund. Then, yes - Opencart does use the API in order to interact with PayPal regarding the payment transactions whenever the merchant accesses the order based on a specific action / event.
