Minimum product quantity restriction in cart for specific products or product categories

Is there any extension where i can insert minimum quantity in cart, for selected categories or products, in order for checkout to continue??

By default you can set a minimum quantity for products in product edit form.

Yes but besides the individual min product quantity, i want the min order quantity in cart to be in a specific number before the customer proceeds to checkout.
e.g.:
I want to have a limit of 10 products in cart before proceeding to checkout:
2 red t-shirts + 3 blue + 5 orange = 10 products in cart (proceed to checkout)

on the other hand:
2 red t-shirts + 1 blue + 5 orange = 8 products in cart (checkout can't proceed)

The only way to do this is with custom modification. Try to search the Marketplace for solution first. If you won't find anything, poke me and I'll try to help you.

Restrict Checkout can do this. Here's an example of how you'd disable checkout when there are 0-9 items from the "T-shirts" category:

RESTRICTION #1
Name: Disable checkout for 0-9 t-shirts
Message: You must purchase at least 10 t-shirts to complete checkout.
Rule: Category is T-Shirts
Rule: Quantity of cart = 0-9
