I am trying to install an extension which requires Integrated VQmod for OpenCart 2 to be installed.

I have tried installing this MOD by uploading the files into the route, which I have done, however when I try to use the Extension Installer when uploading an xml file I get an error message - File not Found, and if I try uploading the Zip file I get the error - Invalid File Type

Any ideas?

The readme says:
The following OpenCart files are replaced by the upload:

admin/controller/extension/installer.php
admin/controller/extension/modification.php
admin/view/template/extension/modification.tpl

Then go to the Opencart admin backend at Extensions > Modifications and click on the Refresh button.
I've checked, theses three files have been uploaded, and I've pressed the refresh button, but I still can't upload .xml extensions

Build in oc mod and vqmod are 2 totally seperate things.
vqmod or vqmod extensions cant be installed using build in oc mod.

installing vqmod involves uploading vqmod files with ftp to your server placing it in root off site (where folders admin catelaog image etc are)
so you add folder vqmod.
once uploaded, go to yoursite.com/vqmod/install.
next install vqmod manager
https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... _license=0
as all vqmod you will have to upload this extension using ftp, upload to root of site.
in admin go to extensions modules and install and active vqmod manager.

Most vqmod extensions always need to bee uploaded using ftp, only if a vqmods just is a xml file you can use vqmod manager to upload that xml file

vqmod is not intergrated into oc you have to install it before you can use it.
How to install see earlyer posting.

well, he's taking about the (for some reason hard to find)
Integrated VQmod for OpenCart 2
https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... n_id=19501
wich is uploaded/installed regularely by use of FTP.
Then, it should execute automatically, without a specific installation.
And ALL VqMOD's used, have to be written/titled like:
whatever.vqmod.xml, and placed in the
SYSTEM/... Subdirectory, at least in older Versions of OC,
where the system/modification.xml resides.
Then, they will be displayed, if so installed automatically, by starting the Shop,
like OcMods in the OcMod Extension Section.

But a VqMod Manager would only further function, in part at least, if VqMods
are still placed in a (manually created) vqmod/xml/.. directory, like in earlier versions, just to mention this ! ;)
JNeuhoff could tell you more about this! :D
