Export / Import Tool

Hi,
I am using Export / Import Tool v 2.26 on OC 2.0.3.1 Which I believe is correct

My problem is importing products (categories I have managed to do). Essentially if I use the template that I export of the default products - replacing with my categories and product info then I always get syntax errors on import for the new product entries but the products exported are always imported fine! - I have copied the format of the exported products done everything - bottom line I can only import products that were exported.

I am only importing 3 products 2 that were exported from teh shop and 1 that I manually add... once i get this working then I will import the 0ther 6000 products!

You forgot the stock_status_id which normally contains one of the following numeric values:

7 In Stock
8 Pre-Order
5 Out Of Stock
6 2-3 Days

You may want to split that into 2 or 3 smaller batches in case you encounter memory_limit problems.

Just trying to import two records - first works perfect - 2nd record not imported, no idea why as I have followed exact same format ... could I impose on your help again please?

yep you are correct - thank you.

(should have realised that having to import categories separately then you woudl need to do the same for manufacturers..._


Slowly getting there and understanding OC ways of doing things.

How did you install this add-on?
I tried installing it via Opencart interface and this is what I get

Sorry I cannot help with the install other than I did exactly what it said in the instructions to install and it worked.

my import all now sorted and I imported 6200+ products in under a minute... very good tool once you ensure you enter all the relevant data for each product.
