Hi all,
I am a newbie to open cart so I don't know much about the interface and system at all. This morning I figured that the extension Quantity Based Shipping Pro could be really useful to me so I purchased it and attempted to install. To my surprise, I wasn't able to install this extension or any other extension. I am currently using OpenCart version 2.3.0.2. I get this "File could not be found!" error. I have tried to install QuickFix and other FTP support extensions, but receive the same message when trying to install. I have also manually created an upload folder in my system file, but wasn't successful. Here is an image of what the error looks like:

Thanks in advance!

Try installing this free quick fix, which will let you use the installer without FTP info:

https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... n_id=18892

If that doesn't solve it, then it's probably a server configuration error. You may need to install the files manually in that case. If you don't know how to do that, contact the OpenCart extension developer for support.

The OP stated he gets the same issue when attempting to install the QuickFix. I have this exact same issue. I have went through pretty much I can think of, including verifying that FTP is working properly. I have searched extensively, but given the blackhole called the internet I cannot seem to find any postings of how to fix this issue. The Extension Installer has not worked since the initial clean install.

I'm not sure about how to fix the installer, but if the installer won't work the only option may be to use FTP, unfortunately. If you don't know how to do that, there's a tutorial here:

https://opencart-training.com/installing-modules

For uploading ocMod files, you can rename those to extension_name.ocmod.xml and put them in the /system/ directory. They'll still get read when you refresh your ocMod cache in Extensions > Modifications, and apply their edits accordingly.

Another issue may be, when some developpers compress as zip the ocmod version and when try to install( without extracting ) give error.
Or ocmod version isn't made correctly.
