Adding custom text fields for product orders V2.3

I am new to OpenCart but am learning as I go but I am very basic.

I am In need to add custom attribute options to a product listed in the shop which do not appear under specification / compare. I want it to be custom options for various items that may vary in need.

Example - This Item allows personalised Text in 3 areas. - Area 1 - (Max 14 Characters - abc and 123 only) - Area 2 - (Max 40 characters - abc and 123 only) - Area 3 - (Max 40 Characters - abc and 123 only)

I wish to add this just above the Add to Cart button which then communicates the options when the order is placed.

Can anyone help me how to do this as I have searched various forums, googled by hands off and cant figure out how to do this.
