How to reduce the margin for body page left & right

Anyone know how to reduce the margin for body page left & right? I try to add margin-left & margin-right to fix it, but it's only one side workable, another side, no matter what I set, it's not workable. Who can tell me why, and help to fix this?

Bootstrap sets the width at 1170 px wide for large desktops views

I would advise against making the site full width as some folks with huge monitors will have to move their mouse a lot more and it will also look terrible.

Thank you for answering. But could you instruct which path, and which line of the bootstrap?

Not as simple as a line of code - you would do well to get a template already set-up for full-width
