Graphics (pictures) disappearing

I really need help here. I truly love this software but am running into a problem that has taken all my excitement away.

Three times now I've added products and pictures to have ALL my graphics disappear. Not only the product pictures but my logo as well as the carousel graphics I created...everything in regards to pictures on the entire web site just goes away.

I've rebuilt the site graphics so many times I'm now afraid to add any pictures. Is anyone out there having or had this same problem?

As a side note the products added to my store do stay, it's just the pictures.
