Reward points deducting tax when no tax is configured

Hi, I'm trying to implement reward points. I have tax turned off throughout and yet, on checkout, tax is applied to the reward points.
For example, for a $12 product, using 12 reward points to purchase, it only takes $11.08 from the total instead of $12. It looks like its applying the GST (Australia 10%) even though I don't have any tax configured.
You help would be most welcome.
I'm using version 2.0.1.1.
