Hi
I have tried to upgrade my version of Opencart 1.5.1.3 to the version 2.3.0.2 but it comes up with a blank page that says it needs PHP 5.4+. In the requirements, it says PHP (at least 5.3) I am currently running PHP 5.3.3 will any of the versions over 2.0 work?
Any help greatly appreciated.

You really should get your web host to update your PHP version. PHP 5.3.3 was released July 22, 2010, so it's 6 and a half years old at this point. Although I don't know of any off-hand, that means it's likely to have some security issues.

Try contacting your web host and see if they'll upgrade you to at least PHP 5.4, or preferably higher (though probably not PHP 7, I'm not sure how well that works with OpenCart based on what I've heard).

Just want to confirm, that upgrading PHP is A MUST for you. Most software developers don't support 5.3 for quite some time and started to exclude 5.4 from support as well. So it's better be something around 5.5-5.6.

Professional OpenCart extensions, support and custom work.
