New to Open cart. need some simple help.

Hi

I have installed opencart onto my website.

I have no trouble with the databases, extracting opencart files etc.

I need to know how to get to the page on my website where I have to agree to the license terms and fill in the user name and database etc.

It must be a link but the videos I have watched must have skipped this.

Did you copy contents of folder upload/ to server ?

When Yes: structure on server root would be:

/admin
/catalog
/image
/install
/system

Call install at http://YOUR_DOMAIN/install

Perhaps you copied folder upload to root ?

Thanks for the reply. Followed the video very closely and all the above list were in the correct folder.

I uninstalled and decided to put the opencart on a subdomain.
I used softaculous.... that didnt work either..

Will try a manual install.

I guess just doing a clean install on a new subdomain.

Then I ran into issues installing vqmod.

Then opencart wouldnt reinstall.

They are still trying to sort that out.

I am trying to use ultimatum theme with opencart in the end.

My web host company ended up installing opencart for me on a subdomain...

Now I just see the demo cart.

How would I login to the dashboard?

I can see a place to register but I think that is for customers.

The proper install had me set up differently.

Any help appreciated.

I am thinking of changing web hosting.

I have had 3 days on this simple job.
