Multi shop - 1 installation- multiple domains

Hi,

I have a shop with OpenCart 2.3.
I want to achieve the following:

A main shop with all my products in very different categories.
Then I want (on the same installation) other shops with one of the categories of the main shop. But the secundary shops should have their own domain. Multi shop by opencart would be the solution.

And that is not working.

The main shop is installed on https://www.javeweb.com and working fine.

I registered www.javeverhuur.be for a secundary shop. Via DirectAdmin I added the domain as pointer (alias) on javeweb.com.

In the opencart admin panel I added a new shop with that domain.

But when I visit www.javeverhuur.be, I see the exact same shop as the main shop.

Any ideas? I looked into the forum but no solution came out.

Ok, via another channel I came to the conclusion it is NOT possible to do Multi-shop on a DirectAdmin server. It is only possible if you use CPanel. I got it working by now by moving my opencart store to another host that uses CPanel.
