Cannot get SSL to work

Hello,

I cannot seem to get SSL to work on my website. I didn't have a problem for years under 1.5.4.1, but after a fresh install of 2.2.0.0 it just won't work
I've tried changing the config files inside both the admin and root folder.I have SSL enabled through the settings. Does anyone have any suggestions?

oc 2.2 has a huge problem when trtying to work with ssl
