So renewed the SSL on our site.
Used a couple SSL checker and verified the ssl is working as it should.
Config file shows both server/image urls with https.
At checkout it shows in chrome as a mixed ssl. I'm confused it's properly installed on the host.
Suggestions please using 1.5.6
Please post a link to your site.
It is most likely a hardcoded image or javascript file that is being served from a non-SSL resource.

ok odd it's kicking in now. when I go to the shopping check out it shows.
Is it possible to force SSL for all pages? Would it not look better to the user that the full showing experience is secure?
I like to ask you more about your "two step authentication plug in" What email address can I reach you?
thanks

Hi
It certainly can be done. There are posts on the forum on how to achieve this
I personally do not advise it as by the nature of SSL it will slow down browing/page load due t having to encrypt/decrypt etc
Take Amazon for example - Their main pages are non-SSL - It is only when you visit sensitive areas of the site that SSL kicks in.

It doesnt really slow anything down if your server is modern enough. We just made an SSL everywhere + policy manager mod if youre interested (works for multistores). It also includes relative url helpers to prevent the "broken lock" from your media:
