The latest Opencart 1.1.9 contains a non-empty config.php file with hard-coded entries for Windows-specific paths, like this:

Code: Select all

<?php
// HTTP
define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://127.0.0.1/upload/');
define('HTTP_IMAGE', 'http://127.0.0.1/upload/image/');

// HTTPS
define('HTTPS_SERVER', '');
define('HTTPS_IMAGE', '');

// DIR
define('DIR_APPLICATION', 'C:\wamp\www\upload/catalog/');
define('DIR_SYSTEM', 'C:\wamp\www\upload/system/');
define('DIR_DATABASE', 'C:\wamp\www\upload/system/database/');
define('DIR_LANGUAGE', 'C:\wamp\www\upload/catalog/language/');
define('DIR_TEMPLATE', 'C:\wamp\www\upload/catalog/view/theme/');
define('DIR_CONFIG', 'C:\wamp\www\upload/system/config/');
define('DIR_IMAGE', 'C:\wamp\www\upload/image/');
define('DIR_CACHE', 'C:\wamp\www\upload/cache/');
define('DIR_DOWNLOAD', 'C:\wamp\www\upload/download/');

// DB
define('DB_DRIVER', 'mysql');
define('DB_HOSTNAME', 'localhost');
define('DB_USERNAME', 'root');
define('DB_PASSWORD', '');
define('DB_DATABASE', 'opencart');
define('DB_PREFIX', 'cart_');
?>
I think it should be empty, otherwise the installer won't work, certainly not on a Linux box!
