My Opencart suddenly cannot back up, when clicking on the System -> Backup/Restore -> Backup button, it just gives me blank page!
" xxx page isn’t working
xxx.com is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500"
Can't check Error Logs, the same issue as above. The website works in the past one year, not sure why and when this happens.
Anyone has the same experience? any idea how to fix this?

well, you possibly did not clean out any surplus files, like cached images, or other things,
and you possibly never checked on any logs, during the last year, and now, your server
may have reached it's limits, because of this.

Turn on error display under system -->> settings and then try reloading the page again. If nothing appears, you may need to get your hosting company involved to tell you what is in the server logs.

Can you please check the Error Log and tell us the error message?
To view your error log, log into your server and run the below command
"vi /var/log/apache2/error.log"
After that, press "SHIFT + G" to go to last line.
Please copy the error from there and post in the comment. We will be able to help you better after that.
