That project is set with the Source language being English, United Kingdom. However there are a few non-British English spellings. For example catalog / catalogue, canceled / cancelled, centimeter / centimetre, etc.Daniel wrote:sorry guys the offical one is here:

we will be using the crowdin api to pull translations directly into opencart stores.
Here https://crowdin.com/project/opencart-translation-v2 you can get also the installation file - if translated already by someone.raikage wrote:yes sure, but this folder contains only a one file called english.php and this file are only for installation.
so if u want to create a installation whit different language u just need follow this step:
1 ) edit the file english.php inside this folder install/english/
2) translate this file in your language,after finish save this file in another name example spanish.php inside the same where are the file called english.php
3) edit this file index.php inside install folder and find this line :and change english in the name of your file that u have translated :Code: Select all
$language->load('english');
like this4) save and start a new installation and now are in your language.( this only for opencart installation )Code: Select all
$language->load('spanish');

So what is the official then?CoverUp wrote:Hello
I got the spanish front end translated, i was uploading to
https://crowdin.com/project/opencart-translation-v2
But now i see that i got to upload again to
https://crowdin.com/project/opencart
is that correct?
About uploading, I was uploading the entire file with the first option selected in the
https://crowdin.com/project/opencart-translation-v2 project
but now in the
https://crowdin.com/project/opencart project, the file option does not appear (in order to upload the entire file) only the item-by-item translation is available. Of course i will not do that.
BTW my translation is ES_CL or latin american spanish (neutral spanish) that is different from the spanish used in spain

I will start working on the Dutch translation this weekend.
It will still be available in the Extensions until this project is widely known.
