OpenCart is a free online shop system.
OpenCart is a free Onlineshop-System.

Development
<p>The development is based on a MVC framework, but which is designed exclusively for the shop system.
Thus, the shop is highly slim and fast.
The risk of importing vulnerability is reduced significantly.</p>
<p>The latest version features many improvements which makes operation easier by optical changes at the surface, contains additional features and better on the EU market is adapted.</p>

Properties
<p>An important feature of OpenCart is largely (by using a template engine) free design possibilities in design and functionality and the ability to implement one or more of many modules (additional applications) in software. This allows, for example, payment modules from third parties such as PayPal integrated into the transaction process, to offer customers cashless payment transactions.</p>

<p>The shopping system is written in the server-side open-source scripting language PHP, MySQL as the database system is used. This makes it possible to shop owners to carry out with sufficient knowledge itself changes and adjustments.</p>

<p>The administration and configuration is web-based and done through the web browser.</p>

Languages
The installation package of OpenCart only the English language is included, but it can be easily re-install other languages.

Currently the following language packs are available (January 2010):

They seem to have deleted it because they have deleted it previously. It's pretty silly really

Also, you can't edit it (even if you're a logged in user)

Oh, so they won't let you edit the page because you're the owner? It makes sense to a point, but deleting the page is just ridiculous really. I'm guessing even if I created the page it would be seen as being affiliated since I'm a mod on here. What a pain in the arse

Hi!

I'm looking for a malaysian translation extension, and this is the only place I can seem to find a reference for it. Is there indeed a malaysian translation available? I apologize for posting in the wrong thread! I've searched everywhere I can! Thanks.

Why is there an osCommerce logo on that page? It makes it appear as if OC is based on osC.

Also, this sentence doesn't make any sense the way it's written:
The development is based on a MVC framework, but which is designed exclusively for the shop system.
Something like this would sound better:
The code is based on a custom MVC-L framework, which includes a language layer.
Also, I think the order of the version history should be reversed with the newest version at the top of the list.

marc_cole wrote:Why is there an osCommerce logo on that page? It makes it appear as if OC is based on osC.
Because the page was inspired by OpenCart and ZenCart pages and I was not able to upload logo into wikipedia because of definition of license. So I remove osCommerce logo until OpenCart will not be available.
marc_cole wrote:The code is based on a custom MVC-L framework, which includes a language layer.
Thanks, I changed it.
marc_cole wrote:Also, I think the order of the version history should be reversed with the newest version at the top of the list.
I also think it, but I saw it on ZenCart page.

I also think I can use this logo on wiki, but I was not able to define license, and also author is needed.
