How do I figure out the prefect keywords. As a small fry I don't think I can compete with larger websites for the common keywords like Handbag, handbags and cheap Handbags. So how do I actually find prefect keywords for my store. If I could predicted what people search that have a moderate competition to build traffic.
We've discussed this before in the thread http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=80716
One link for how to research keywords I give in the above thread is http://www.shopify.com/blog/9467565-how ... l-keywords

Running Opencart v3.0.3.2 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.
thank you for commenting I was hoping you would. I was inspired by your post and I started to look for and commenting on blogs with a page rank of 5 and higher with dofollow. I have used google keyword planner before but I need to know what people are typing into google and find that spacial key word or key phases that other sites aren't exploiting. But I guess most of the people who read this comment are saying who isn't looking for those undiscovered key words and phases.labeshops wrote:We've discussed this before in the thread http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=80716

and thank you for that article on shopify I guess it kinda answered my question.
It is hard to find the "perfect keywords" - best thing to do is dig in and try to rank for the keywords you can find, perhaps branching out from there. Keep refining as you go.
Blog commenting supposedly doesn't count as much as it used to, though I think it still counts a bit as social proof. I don't do it as much - maybe 1-2 days a month I'll see if I can find some to comment on. I'm spending more time these days trying to write some blog posts and develop more content on my stores than anything else.
