This vQmod will prevent customers from using a PO Box address as their primary and/or shipping address during registration and checkout.

Also prevents registered customers from changing their address to a PO Box address.
And here's one for version 1.4.9.x.

You have made a valiant effort, but it seems you are tilting at windmills.

Pardon my skepticism, but in your modification how did you account for the problems discussed in this thread? And, why would you prevent registration of a Post Office Box as a billing address, which is quite legitimate and often necessary?

I, for one, have had a Post Office Box billing address for most of the past 30 years, and have never had a merchant confuse it with my shipping address. My credit card companies, on the other hand, would not have approved a single one of my transactions if the billing address had not shown my PO Box.

Our company does not allow delivery to PO box addresses as they are often used for fraudulent orders as it is not a physical address and can not be tracked.

I have uploaded this file and followed the steps exactly per vqmod user guide. But it still allows all variations of PO Box.

VQMod doesn't give any errors, and the website doesn't seem to indicate error either. Im running. 1.4.9.4..

Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot this...?

So is there any way to isolate this to just the shipping address upon checkout? I agree that billing should be fine as most credit card companies work with them okay, but there is definitely an issue upon shipping.

Well, if we spoke proper English it would cause havoc in the template forum
As we would write words like 'centre' instead of 'center' and 'colour' instead of 'color' and that would stuff up our templates. So, that is the end of proper English

Please speak American when writing code so the computer understands you

Fido-x, first of all thanks for creating this vqmod. I noticed that if a user puts in an entry like p.o. box, it doesn't prevent them from continuing. It would be great if we could prevent that type of entry too.
