At the bottom of my admin I have Version 1.5.1. But I beleive it might be 1.5.1.3

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

Was this fix included in 1.5.3.1? I am still facing the problem. PayPal Standard is sending cart subtotal to PayPal as total, i.e. ignoring shipping charges, payment fee, coupons, vouchers, and reward points.

Is there any other way to just send the totals to paypal. A solution that would be reliable with updates. Happy to pay whatever it takes. Let me know

anyone?

this is actually a bug within opencart. the fact that it doesn't pass shipping and tax info creates reporting problems when calculating sales taxes and income for reporting purposes.

This is a documentation bug not a technical bug in OpenCart. In other words, the issue is not OpenCart, but simply that OC documentation never explains the process.

The issue itself is a PayPal issue. There is a hidden configuration in PayPal that you are supposed to do. Log into PayPal.
My Account > Profile > My Selling Tools > Shipping calculations update
Check the box for Click here to allow transaction-based shipping values to override the profile shipping settings listed above (if profile settings are enabled).

Thanks for the info, but this option doesn't exist in my PayPal business account profile page.

At which point in the navigation does your track diverge?

there's no "My selling tools" link. There's a "shipping calculator" link, but its not the same as you describe.

That probably means you haven't set up Standard PayPal payments for websites from the PayPal end at all.

Not sure I follow. I've been getting PayPal payments since 2002 through my other sites...

Hi,

When I unzip this zip file I get the file named bugfixes-pp-standard 2.xml

Do I have to change this in to smth else or what? Do I put this in xml folder of vqmod? Am I supposed to anything else?

This is not working in 1.5.1.3.

I am using this https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... c9598c681a extension to set up fee for using paypal or credit cards.

At the end of this order it is because of this extension now stated - fee 4.8% bla bla, but when I am transferred to paypal it is still stated "Shipping, Handling, Discounts & Tax…"

How to change that, to be the same as before you press pay at the end of the order.. I need to have stated - fee 4.8%

Sorry to revive a very old thread but this mod was a life saver back on 1.5 and I have now upgraded to 2.0.2, does anyone know of a pp_standard fix mod for 2.0?

I see this was never implemented in the core. 2.3.0.2 has Paypal Satndard as 1 line item of Shipping, Handling, Discounts & Taxes yet. No fix for 2.3.0.2?
