Where To Put HTML Code

I want to add a widget to my homepage. The support team cannot help me with OC. However, I still would like to add the widget, and wanted to check here to see if anyone could assist me. I tried placing the code in Footer files (catalog), but no success.

I know this is an old thread, but since I came across it I thought I would try. It was no problem to add the Pinterest follow widget but I am having a little difficulty figuring out how to put the code for Pinterest's PinIt button on my site to enable people to pin from the site.
MarketInSG: would your recommendation work for this also? Or is there a simple thing to do that I am not seeing?

I'm not sure about that. However, I just noticed that Pinterest is an option for sharing under Share of each product.

you can place it in with the html module. Just remember to click 'view source' on the editor, before you paste the codes.

Some still exist, but a lot of older Mods are no longer listed in the Extension Section.
