We have a site built with Open Cart. It is a wonderful stable site, but the creative design allowed by Wordpress is lacking.

Has anyone further explored the quest for a way to use the sites together with one url?

I looks like the interest died, but I am one who will keep hoping something will come together . We would definitely be interested in buying the extension. Does not have to be cheap!
