Use Admin to its fullest with Admin Enhancement Suite (AES). AES adds a multitude of features and tweaks to increase productivity in the Administration section

Full CKEditor Toolbar with Spellcheck
Unleash the power of CKEditor with it's full toolbar. AES adds spellcheck, page preview, advanced paste options, find and replace, undo/redo, flash embeding, printing and more to CKEditor!

Zebra Stripes and Easy Links
Zebra stripes are added to lists such as products and categories to make them easily readable and links are added directly to the name.

Status Highlighting
Status has been expanded to the Category and Information list and disabled items are now highlighted in red. The Product list now has purple status highlighting for products which are enabled for a future date.

Quick View Info
Product, customer, and order forms all contain pertinent information in the header.

Product Element Counts
Product form tabs now display counts for attributes, options, discounts, specials, and images so you know instantly how many you have set up for a product without having to go to the individual tab.

Error Highlighting
Make a mistake when entering a new product or category? Tabs with entry errors are now highlighted in red so you can find where the mistake is quickly and correct it.

SEO Duplication Protection
Receive a warning if your product, category, or information page has an SEO keyword that's already in use somewhere else.

Product Form Defaults
Don't get stuck making the same changes over and over again when entering a new product. Now you can set defaults for all your new products including:
-Tax Class
-Quantity
-Minimum Order Quantity
-Subtract Stock
-Requires Shipping
-Status
-Option Required
-Option Value Subtract Stock

More Accurate Sales Reporting
Why count canceled, reversed, denied, and voided orders in your store sales statistics? With order status exclusions you can specify which sales really count for reporting.

Larger Filemanager
Take advantage of your monitor. AES allows you to set filemanger to 900 x 500 (15 images on screen at once), 1000 x 600 (18 images), 1200 x 800 (28 images) or leave filemanager at the default 800 x 400 (8 images).

Better Product Matching
Don't get stuck trying to remember the exact name of items when adding to related products or to the featured module.

Featured Module "Add To Front"
Featured products are now added to the front of the list for maximum exposure.

Admin Enhancement Suite 1.2.1 was released 4/22. They're mostly minor changes which include:

Backported fix for abandoned orders appearing in customer, product, and sale reports. This only effects some OpenCart versions prior to 1.5.2.1 r925.
Removed error logging for template quick-link creation that's accomplished by a combination of wildcard file matching and regex so failures don't unduly spam up the VQMod error log
Updated documentation with new troubleshooting methods (version 1.c)

Hey,
I like what I see and all really helpful features.

A suggestion and also an addition that I personally require is to customise the columns under the Orders Page. For the simple reason that we require to see the Product that has been ordered in association with the name, date and other details at a quick glance. Say we recieve 10 orders in a given day, and for us they all need manufacturing, we currently have to drill down through each order to see the actual product ordered. It would be great to see this info on the main order page itself.

Its bizzare that this isn't standard already IMHO. It would also be welcome if the 'Options' selected could be shown adjacent to the product. Possibly other features alongside it but for now just the above would be amazing.

I'll look into the feasibility of it for the next release. Right now I'm really busy so it'll likely be at least 2-3 weeks out.

RPH -

I just thought I would add a few new feature requests:

1) The ability to bulk update order statuses (and possibility the ability to have a stock message being sent to the customer associated with each status update - but also have the option putting in a normal custom comment as well).
2) The ability to quickly enable/disable products or categories like seen in this mod: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... on_id=4171
3) Filter Products by category like seen in this mod: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... on_id=4953

Also, I personally need the ability to have restricted access for admin users based on a STORE ID - when using the baked in multi-store functionality of Opencart. Meaning that if an admin user logs in that has restrictions on it to not show sales/customers from Store 2 they only see the customers/sales from the default store and NOT from store 2. If you are available for some custom development work and this is something you think you could do, please send me an email with an estimate for this. My email is = info@nwfineartprinting.com. I'd then hope you would add that functionality into the AES so others could benefit as well.

Admin Enhancement Suite 1.2.2 has been released. It contains a fix for “undefined index: firstname”/“undefined index: email” when customer editing fails a validation check.

There are features I've developed elsewhere I've considered rolling into it but nothing's in active development now since I have a lot of other work on my plate.
