This OpenCart module implements product bundling functionality. Bundle the products to give a discount on the bundle.

Looks like a useful mod, but customers wont know there is a combo price for other similar products-which wont then serve as an unsuccessful inducement.

is there anyway to show explicitly right next to the similar product: get 20% off this similar product...

I hope you get what i mean

it is easy to calculate the save % and show up.

will add it to next version.

version 1.0.3:

- only 1 product with required option is allowed for 1 combo set
- will add product with the selected options by combo set
- fix bug with customer group
- fix bug of the discount calculator when there is product with option

For someone like to set the custom price for each product in the combo:

- custom price for each product? or custom discount for each product?
- A + B = bundle S
when customer add A, then add B, will the custom discount apply to these 2 product?

add 2A then add 1B, what happen? and how the cart display them?

add 2 bundle S, then delete 1A from the cart, what happen? and how the cart display them?

BEST For me next situation:
I have 2 lists:
1. List with SKU of products what client must buy (like "Buy 2 any T-shirts..." or "Buy 10 coats...")
2. List with SKU of products what client get as gift (like "... and get any of strings free")

For example:
I have t-shirts (red, green, blue, black, white) and pants (white, black).
Action "Buy 2 t-shirts and get 1 pants free"
1st client buy red t-shirt + blue t-shirt and choose gift - white pants
2nd client buy 2 green t-shirts and choose gift - black pants

Another action:
I have 5 smartphones model + 5 design of covers for each smartphones + screen protectors.
Action "Buy smartphone + cover and get screen protector free"
Clients can choose any smartphone and any cover and get screen protector.

Third action:
"Buy any smartphone and get 4 screen protectors for free"

One of the solution what I can see:
User see on product page (red t-shirt for example) bundle with (1st position - red t-shirt, 2nd position - red t-shirt and "list" box below with another goods - green, blue, black t-shirts. 3rd position - pants with list below too)...

In Admin 2 lists:
1. Must buy products with quantity
2. Gift with quantity

Combo/Bundle extension for opencart v1.0.7 is released with some important new features:

ADDED:
Allow to define the quantity of each product in the combo.

FIXED:
Not show bundle discount when there is not combo in the cart.

Hi fanha99,

This looks like a really great mod. Congratulations!

I've been thinking of moving from Zen Cart to Open Cart for a while now and there was one thing stopping me - bundles! I use a mod for Zen Cart called "Zen Bundles" which allows me to offer my customers bundles like this one: http://www.firstpersonview.co.uk/comple ... ete-system

These allow my customers to build a system for themselves choosing from 3 different types of cameras, 2 different types of transmitters, some mandatory items and some optional extras. The price changes on the fly as they go and then when they press "Add to cart" all of the items chosen are added to the cart, decremented from the stock level, and put on the invoice/ packing slip for us to pack.

Zen Bundles isn't perfect: it starts off showing the price with none of the items selected which people complain about because it seems cheaper than it really is, and it would be even better if we could tailor the options based on previous questions - EG if you choose a GoPro as the camera you want, then offer you a long GoPro cable, or a short GoPro cable in the next question. If you choose an FPV25CS as the camera you want, then only offer you the FPV25CS camera cable in the next question, etc.

Do you think your system could be tailored to do what I want to do with it? I suppose the main differences are:
1) My ZenBundles appear a little like regular products in the storefront
2) My customers can choose different options in the bundle on the fly

Other than that it seems pretty close.

I tried your demo site but I was not able to add a product to an existing combo or a new combo. In the box that says "Related Products:
(Autocomplete)" whatever I type doesn't come up with anything. I tried "HTC", "Samsung" but nothing happened. I tried Chrome and IE9.

That allows me to get one step further but when I press Save it says:
"Warning: You do not have permission to modify attributes!"

My requirements are a little different to your standard version. Could you make me a special version which works like Zen Bundles?

Haha, for security, we could not allow demo user to modify.
Demo user can view and try function only. Incase user need to test more, they can contact us.

I didn't use zen before. Could you please send the demo site, and some screen shot?

Hi,

Were you able to take a look at my website? Could this mod be used in the same way, or could you create a special mod for me that could work in that way?

The tricky parts seem the same - ie adding all of the items to the shopping cart, decrementing the stock level, etc its just the presentation to the customer which I need to be slightly different.

Please let me know what you would charge for a special mod.

Can you have multiple bundles per product.

For example I am selling 1 bed frame but I want them to be able to bundle with 4 or 5 different matresses.

So on the bed frame product page there would be 5 different bundles

Buy with mattress 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5

Hope this makes sense

There's a small problem with currencies with left symbol like $:

In catalog/model/total/combo.php you have this line:

'text' => $this->currency->format(-$discount_total),

Which displays "$-54". You should use something like this instead:

'text' => "-".$this->currency->format($discount_total),

Or even go further and allow users to add minus symbol in templates.

I bought this module and installed it and add it from order total correctly, but I can't see it in admin menu!! I am using Arabic language and I have copied language files to my admin, but it didn't show.
Please help
