V: 1.5.6.4
New installation, not yet live
Experience level: first open cart shop
System: as default with Stripe extension

Coupons are enabled in the order totals extension. I have a coupon set up (see screen print). There is the opportunity to enter the coupon on the view cart screen (see screen print). I enter "test" in the coupon field but the coupon is not applied and there is no error message. If I continue to checkout (see screen print) the couple has not be applied

Have i missed setting something up.

I'm ready to go live with my store but want to send out a promotion coupon to my mailing list.

Cheers
Mike

Do you get any errors in the error log that could be related? Are there any errors in your web browser's inspect tools console (F12 in Chrome) when loading the cart page or clicking on apply?

Thanks for your reply! Nothing in the error log in opencart.
In Chrome I get one error:
"Denying load of chrome-extension://pkbffbhglicfngmppdlpmpblfgnkdgio/font/fontaw
esome-webfont.ttf. Resources must be listed in the web_accessible_resources manifest key in order to be loaded by pages outside the extension."
I'm assuming this is not relevant since I get the same error on many different websites in Chrome.
The warning messages:
"Mixed Content: The page at 'https://www.rainbowdogs.co.uk/newshop/i ... ckout/cart' was loaded over a secure connection, but contains a form that targets an insecure endpoint 'http://www.rainbowdogs.co.uk/newshop/in ... ckout/cart'. This endpoint should be made available over a secure connection."
This message I only get on the view cart page and not on other opencart pages. Obviously something that needs investigation in itself but again not sure if it is relevant to my problem?
Cheers
Mike

The mixed content warning is likely to be relevant to the issue. Look through the HTML in the inspect window or view source to see where you have http instead of https. Do you have any modifications that affect the checkout page?
