It has been a year or so since I have ran an excel port download. I tried earlier today and noticed in the file that I got some weird characters in various lines, it looks like this: "1/2" Product"

"<p><span style="font-size:14px;"> Product Info. "

Are these supposed to be there for some reason or is there a way I can fix them?

Do they need to be added to products that are imported to the store from plain text?

Code: Select all

"<p><span style="font-size:14px;"> Product Info. "
html-coded, just means:

Code: Select all

"<p><span style="font-size:14px;">&nbsp;Product Info. "
but don't worry, it will be 'placed' again in correct order, if you upload it ever again.
It's, because Excel cannot 'handle' HTML-TAG's, so, they have to rewritten in a 'readable/usable' Form.

You could save such entire Code as HTML File, then open the file by use of a Browser,
and it will display again as regular html-content-source.

Or then, do it here, if you just want to find out, what it means in real! :D
