I can't emphasize enough how important customer testimonials are for business....testimonials (reviews) drive other customers like no amount of advertising can.
The British site gettingpersonal.co.uk is excellent in most departments when it comes to customer interaction.
One of the good things that they do and should be incorporated in PS core is:
Widget showing off (say 10) random reviews with 5-star ratings. At the bottom of this widget is a link to read others...this link takes to a page with all 5-star reviews.
The title of the widget should show total number of reviews received on the site.
In version 2 of this function, you may allow merchant to choose which reviews to showcase in the widget.
