With a shop now finally live, there are a few minor tweaks to make that I think would generally be a great addition.

Most customers seem very lazy when it comes to using the keyboard but their details are used for postage/mailshots etc., so they look very amateur. It would be good if they could be automatically capitalized and postcode set to uppercase so:

john SMITH, cHURCH STREEt, de12 1ab

Would become:

John Smith, Church Street, DE12 1AB

+ + +

The main (in fact only) complaint my client has is the non-sequential order numbers which makes it look as though orders are missing. This is because there are almost as many temporary orders (with order_status_id = 0) left in the database as there are proper orders.

Although there is already a well received mod for eliminating these, it would be great if this could be applied to the core. The order_id is incorporated into text such as Order Number so having so many gaps makes auditing tasks much more difficult and it is a nonsense to have so many spurious orders in the system causing unnecessary gaps in the sequence.
