Categories and sub-categories in search result

I am looking for a good working extention,

that gives the customers also categories and or sub categories in the search result.
Bought an extention, but that one is not working at all.

Does anyone have an suggestion, or can anyone help me with this problem.

The only problem would be to calculate the results of categories versus the results of products found during the search. Based on another angle, what happens if a merchant would have 10000 categories related to millions of products? The results of the categories and sub-categories shown in the results would typically never match the same quantity match of results found for the relative products which means either the products or the categories with sub-categories would be queried with leftovers while travelling through different page results.
