make welcome box a module

Could you make the welcome box a module instead of being a static feature, this will allow other modules to be placed above the welcome box as I have noticed on many opencart stores people have to mod the site to do this.

This wouldn't take to much to do but would make a big difference to alot of people.

Any Chance??
