Hello
Has anyone already experience with A2 Hosting?
And perhaps also with the Europe servers?
Thanks in advance!
Hi, surely my opinion may seem a little bit biased... but I can tell you anyway my experience. I joined recently A2Hosting Opencart liaison, and I'm also trying/using their hosting on a European server. You can check one of my demo sites hosted there, to see how they are fast. For example this one:
http://www.opencartzoom.com/demo/oc2102pl/
Consider that Turbo Servers basically use Litespeed as web server which is really light and fast, than SSD drives make their job.
Finally consider you can try and in case you are not satisfied, you can ask for a refund. Please check anytime money back guarantee!!!

Let me know for anything, I'm here and write from Italy.
Regards,
M

Just signed up a specific opencart account. Already having problems. First instead of opencart they installed some classified program called osclass. When I informed them and they tried to correct the problem they installed opencart incorrectly and I am getting page not found errors. Still day 1 and already problems. I would advise anyone to be ware this hosting company even though recommended by opencart.
Awful hoster.
Used their VPS for more than a year. Created tickets every month, cause their servers are either unreachable or freezing.
At the beginning of Aug2017 they had a massive DDOS at their servers, and the best thing they could do - switch off my VPS with 20 websites on it for three days. No fresh backups, nothing... Just wait for DDOSers get tired.
Since then they applied limit of http requests, when loading product list page with 100 products in admin it took up to 2 minutes to load all images.
And finally they applied limits for their SSD IOPS... You won't believe... 10Mb/sec. A speed of a floppy ***ing drive. All my websites freezed
Also problems with their openVZ virtualization. They have an ancient kernel and don't plan to update it. I had to refuse from several programs cause they needed more fresh kernel.
And this cost me 550USD/year. 6cores, 4GB RAM, 100GB SSD. Yes, they sell this like SSD.
I must admit, they have fast and cheap cores. But I think they would apply a limit for them also if I used too much of CPU.
I tested another (3 times cheaper) German hosting and it worked 10 times faster than A2 with MySQL and files. I really mean it. 10 times faster literally on SQL requests and image resize/copy/etc. 0.5sec against 5.0sec at A2.
Today I move the last website from their hosting. That's enough.
Backuping and moving to a new hoster is also a pain. Creating a backup with this iops limit took me almost a whole day.
