Re: Submit order then create paypal button

Normally, once you place the order, an ecommerce store should forward you to paypal. I haven't tested with OpenCart's payment gateway yet, but that would be the most intuitive for me. As far as what you want to do. It sounds like its just a javascript button that enables a pay now button. Search goo...

Re: An Idea: Additional Admin Menu for Additional extensions!

Ok. I'm done with the first beta of the database-based admin menu. Javascript menu has been removed. It is a simple css menu design, and can be skinned however you want it. I added a menu.css to keep it all separate. This menu design "WILL" support nested menu levels, however, for the firs...

Raw Contrib Roundup.

There seems to be this intuition for contribs to be displayed in raw form on the forums as manual code edits, instead of being properly created as a downloadable contrib. I don't know how well this works for others, but I can only see this as a major problem, stemming from no proper contrib method (...

Re: How to change the foter

Unless you want to change the actual wording of the text, then you'd want:
catalog/languages/english/extension/module/footer.php

Re: Somebody can help me please

Use URL Alias: NO Display Parse Time: NO Use SSL: NO ------------------------------------- You also need to apply a small bug fix to the library/environment/url.php file to stop opencart from using URL Aliases See here for details: http://forum.opencart.com/index.php/topic,1544.msg6829.html#msg6829

Re: 500 Internal Server Error occurs while install 0.7.8 on godaddy share hostin

When I remove the .htaccess file and set URL Aliasing to off, a 404 Not Found error appears.  I think the reason for the 404 is due to another code bug. It is still trying to use Alias on the front end even when turned off. You need to edit your "library/environment/url.php" file and chan...

Re: [HOT] OpenCart 0.7.8 FULL URL ALIAS SUPPORT with Automatic Generation of Aliases

But this is a contrib. Unless they are adding it to the official cart code. So this would be added after the cart exists. But like Luv2drv said, the easiest way would be just to get the path and replace admin with catalog. There are a few diff ways, adding one extra line to the config wouldn't hurt,...

Re: OpenCart is Really Good- With some caveats

Qphoria Your points are well taken, and I agree with you in that the developers and contributors are as always sometimes unappreciated in an Open Source setting. I've managed by a lot of trial and error, to created subcats and attache a product to it.  Without any docs and no hints from within, it ...

Re: [HOT] OpenCart 0.7.8 FULL URL ALIAS SUPPORT with Automatic Generation of Ali

LOL yea, but remember contribs are supposed to keep to themselves. Not start modifying every file on your disk. Fair point, but since the config files need to be edited before uploading the site to the hosting provider, I don't see a real problem. Hmm... config files should never be touched after t...
