Vague explanation provided. Please read the forum rules. Not vague at all..... If you have only 1 stock of a certain product, you can still choose 2 or more in the quantity box on product page then click add to cart. You will not see an error until you view the cart page as the quantity vs stock is...

Do you want it on just the product pages I.e category/product/manufacturer etc and home page?

How many different pages do you want this extra module position on ?? If it is multiple pages then you may be better putting the codes in header.php and header.twig instead of home.php and home.twig, then you just need to add a module to the new position on whatever page you want via design/layout. ...

You would also need to add the relevant code to the relevant controller fields
