Re: All folders and files are visibel

Did you rename the file .htaccess.txt to .htaccess in your root folder? That's your first line of defense for security from the bad people.

Re: Domain Issues

Well, you kinda answered your own question there...if changing the config.php file in root fixed the front-end, then I would suspect there is also another config.php file, oh I don't know... inside the admin folder?!? lol, sorry for sarcasm I just get a kick when people try to over think simple prob...

Re: Additional font selections

That's why I removed the social toolbar from my profitable product pages extension... went with custom local images and code. One less thing to slow down the site by reducing the amount of third party calls the cart needs to make. But here's a question for you, I seem to recall reading somewhere tha...

Re: ERROR Message received First time

I don't have an answer because I am not familiar with that version of OC. Here is something to get you started at least... Login to your admin and look for the error log, anything? Did you or somebody else recently add something new to the cart that could have broken it? I don't mean products, I mea...

Re: Developer documentation release timeframe?

http://doc.hostjars.com/display/opencart/Developer+Guide is where you will find the best documentation when and if it ever gets updated. Devel stuff is not overly available here so I suggest you download a bunch of free themes and extensions. Look at the code and you will soon see how everything is ...

Re: Display stock name assigned in product details form

I would say yes, fairly easy. The files that display pages are all in .tpl format, so those are the ones you need to edit. You will need to edit both the admin and catalog section to make it work. Edit the file for the page you want to display (probably product.tpl) and look for the echo $something ...

Yes, delete the xml file itself, delete the vqmod cache and delete the opencart cache for good measure.

Re: Remove Product Return Links

I know the solution is here but I wanted to add my custom mod which has a slightly different take on the returns. When someone wants to return something, I assume they have a member account. When they click on a return link, it will just auto re-direct them to their account page. Even if they know t...

Re: Meta tags, do i need them?

Agreed, no harm in having them whatsoever but if having them generates one extra sale a month, then that is twelve sales a year, 120 sales per decade that you could have lost on simply because you opted to leave meta out of your shop. You asked for a link, I think there is no better place to start t...

Re: image size problem

The link posted doesn't work, should just be: http://sunshop.ge/ Well the answer is because of dynamic resizing so that you don't see the image all stretched or all squished. I am only guessing, but the cart will display either maximum width or maximum size (whichever comes first) and compensate the...
