Re: Default to None (Zone) - Singapore - 1.5.5.1 - Basico I

Haha, really noob... Mistaken the "class" indicated from other sites that I should create a separate class, but originally it already has this : (have dup the originals and get the new classes edited and corrected in the tpl file as well) .selectdiv_r1 { position:relative; float:left; margin:10px 0p...

Re: Default to None (Zone) - Singapore - 1.5.5.1 - Basico I

IF this one worked on the button now completed, select.prod { position: relative; z-index: 10; height: 34px !important; width: auto; padding: 10px 10px 10px 10px; line-height: 34px; cursor: pointer; } THEN a renamed clone such as select.prod2 { position: relative; z-index: 10; height: 34px !importa...

Re: Default to None (Zone) - Singapore - 1.5.5.1 - Basico I

ok, so let me rephrase it in my understanding from your post : Main select.prod { position: relative; z-index: 10; height: 34px !important; width: auto; padding: 10px 10px 10px 10px; line-height: 34px; cursor: pointer; } Then this will control the button: something similar to what is here. .select.p...

Re: Default to None (Zone) - Singapore - 1.5.5.1 - Basico I

Ok, i tried the background css but it didn't change the color of the arrow but instead changed the background only. Foreground : #66666 -- doesn't work also... Do I have to create a separate css code set -- specially for the dropdown button : .select.prod select { width: 100px; -webkit-appearance: n...

Re: Default to None (Zone) - Singapore - 1.5.5.1 - Basico I

Will try that later. Didn't know background = the arrow color. Strangely, Basico's developer keep saying his theme works on his demo, but I tried it at Firefox and Internet Explorer on PC and Google Chrome on Android Smartphone, it doesn't work! -- None -- doesn't appear. And he kept saying things l...

Re: Default to None (Zone) - Singapore - 1.5.5.1 - Basico I

If you clone prod as prod2, then add position-[top, left, right, bottom -- each of them separately] , you can (presumably) nudge prod2 for Country without nudging prod for Zone by amending the .css and reloading till you see what you intended. You can change the format of padding, to straightforwar...

Re: Default to None (Zone) - Singapore - 1.5.5.1 - Basico I

Butte: Could you guide me on what "items" to style for the CSS in a different "Class"? This is the original CSS: select.prod { position: relative; z-index: 10; height: 34px !important; width: auto; padding: 0px 34px 0px 0px; line-height: 34px; cursor: pointer; } Edit: Given the Register.tpl coding i...

Re: Default to None (Zone) - Singapore - 1.5.5.1 - Basico I

Well, that's progress. Rather than removing a class you can modify it (prod2, etc.) as a name and id both (it serves as a reminder even if it is not tied back to .css). It would probably work for Country, too, if you find the right spot for it. Ok, saw my edit? Apparently I was trying that removing...

Re: Default to None (Zone) - Singapore - 1.5.5.1 - Basico I

Looks like I may have to just change the css for the 2 drop down boxes. (Developer insisted nothing wrong, he tested and it works) -- but it didn't work on his demo! Previously I tried removing the prod class, and just have to add padding to the box and it will work. But strangely, it will only work...

MarketInSG wrote:it's a theme issue. badly written theme making use of fancy jquery to style a select box.
Does it have any relation to the only js file I found that related to the Dropdown box?

jquery.sparkbox-select.js

Any idea how to style this? And also if any one has this file in their OC installation?

Re: Default to None (Zone) - Singapore - 1.5.5.1 - Basico I

great.... none of those works in the tpl inline. Edit1: If I set the Opacity = .99 -- it will show up the Dropdown arrow button which doesn't seems to look like the same css with the rest of the form.. and it certainly will move together if i do the padding to this class. As much as possible I try n...

Re: Default to None (Zone) - for Singapore in forms -- 1.5.

We seem to be looking at Singapore defaulting zone to None. So far, so good. Whatever went into your box didn't take, I see ONLY eight spaces. The country and zone selectors have the same appearance. Singapore and None differ. The --- Singapore --- sits where one would expect it. The --- None --- s...

Re: Default to None (Zone) - for Singapore in forms -- 1.5.

Ya learn it by doin' it . . . and occasionally none of it follows its own bloody rules even when the top of the page is forcibly strict mode. I assume that yours is strict mode, that would be another wrinkle, fixed by making it so. At the moment Singapore seems to be defaulting zone (state/region) ...
