Re: Multi store problem. please help

Even if it does work, that won't solve your problem--it sounds like there is a specific issue with your site. The only way to know is to get that error message from the server logs.

Re: Multi store problem. please help

A 500 error is an internal server error. If it worked before and now it fails, something changed. You should ask your host to check the server logs and see what the error is and they should help you.

Without knowing what that error is, there's nothing anyone can do.

Re: Category Name Length

You could also edit the CSS for the theme or consider using a different theme that allows for more space for the categories.

Re: Shipping Estimate Works, Checkout Shipping Results in Er

Hmm, that sounds odd, but if it's true, it's certainly sounds like a bug. All I could suggest would be tracing through the code, as mentioned above.

Re: Issue after removing SSL

They are redirected or the actual link is https?

If they are truly redirected, what sort of pages are we talking about?

Re: How to solve the problem plz help me

The first issue appears to be a small server configuration error but anyhow the main issue is that your database access credentials are not correct. You need to get those right in order to install OpenCart.

Re: Corona Coffee New Website

http://coronacoffee.co.uk/ I think looks great--very professional, but I think that the three "popups" for Wishlist, Quick View and Compare are a bit confusing and it would be easier to use those if they were buttons under the image. http://sieuthithietbivanphong.com/ The home page looks a...

Re: Open cart integration with Other systems

Sounds like you need to write a module to communicate to your back end when an order is placed. See here:

http://docs.opencart.com/developer/module/

for the module development documentation.

Re: Why not to use Opencart

wafflemeister, sorry to hear about your experience, but it's actually quite different to compare OpenCart to other available tools in the same category without actually, well, comparing them. You may have found that some features are lacking or complicated in OpenCart, but unless you have experience...

Re: Moved to new host and get You do not have permission to

24karatcoin, your error is not an issue with the database credentials--it's an error with the server configuration, or as Randem suggested, with file permissions. The server is not able to execute the PHP code. I would suggest you ask your host for assistance.

Re: Installation error: Connection refused

Randem is correct. On most hosts, the MySQL server is localhost. It would appear that on iPage it's username.ipagemysql.com where username is your iPage username.

Try that.

Re: Shipping Estimate Works, Checkout Shipping Results in Er

No, I didn't mean that type of debugging. There is no actual error in the code--the problem is in the logic, meaning the PHP code is running fine, it's just not giving the results we want. Thus you must trace through the code, step by step (or function by function) and put in print_r or similar stat...

Re: Shipping Estimate Works, Checkout Shipping Results in Er

Next step would be to manually debug the code and try to see where it's failing.

NV works and CA fails? What about other states?

Something is indeed odd here but I don't know what. :(
