Re: [SOLVED] Warning: DDoS against OpenCart based websites

Actually sorry, the brute force attack was against our customer login - not admin.

Out of interest, we used Cloudflare's we are under attack mode for the admin directory and it worked an absolute treat. Complete shut down.

Re: Warning: DDoS against OpenCart based websites

@OSWorX: Yes, I think you are right. A good firewall or WAF is the correct approach. Up until yesterday, we had over 400 000 attacking requests per day on several websites. We ended up using Bitninja which appears to deflect almost all of them. I'll mark this forum thread as [SOLVED]. I think this ...

Re: Dunninghams (New Zealand Butcher Supplies)

Thanks mate. Regarding Straightlight, one of the oddest conversations I've had in awhile - it was like I was on Stackoverflow! The reason I posted was to highlight Amazon Lightsail which I am having a really good experience with. Opencart really hums on it :) Nice website, well done! As regards the ...

Re: Dunninghams (New Zealand Butcher Supplies)

If you could actually point to the actual part of that link that tells me how the specific error you have kindly posted is affecting the delivery of this specific website to the customer, that would be grand. Here's a hint: it doesn't. The map error effects the home page in no way. PS. when you talk...

Re: Dunninghams (New Zealand Butcher Supplies)

I know how to fix it, been doing this for awhile. Wanting you to tell me how this error is currently affecting the site being served to customers. I’m here all day. Interesting. Did not notice this error in console. Can you let me know how this will affect the website being served. Yes, very impress...

You could check the server's access log to see what the exact logged requests are, and whether they originate from the payment gateway, and if so, perhaps twice. This way you'd get a clearer idea whether or not it is caused by the payment gateway.
Yeah good point. Thanks, I will check.

Could be some sort or race condition between the payment response and the callback it the both call addOrderHistory. Does it happen every time and with different payment modules?
Yeah appears to be every time with the same payment gateway.

Duplicate customer activity (new order), and email sent twice.

Hey folks. Bit of a weird one that I cannot work out. When a new order is made, the customer activity is showing the new order twice (exact same time), and when dive into the report it shows a different IP address against the duplicated activity. I assume because of the payment callback. Also, and I...

Looking for an extension to export order details (in realtime) to XML

Hey folks, has anyone a recommendation for an extension that would export an order (once placed/realtime) to XML. A new client has requested this so that they can import the XML data to SAP. I note a number of extensions in marketplace with ability to export to XML, but need to know if they do this ...

Re: OC 3 admin invalid session token

If you are being redirected to a site other than your own I would be very worried it is a hack.

Do you see the session token in the url, does it stay consistent after login?

Re: Custom code in <head> section on contact page?

Lol, I've never used it to be fair. Always code using custom extensions or directly to core if it is simple.

Re: Custom code in <head> section on contact page?

Hmmm, might pay to check this viewtopic.php?t=206283
If you have extensions installed and using theme editor (?) this could get messy as they suggest.
Sorry, I'm not helping much.

Ok, this could work maybe... but how to add it to theme editor on backend, in this way?
Ah, so you do not have access to controller code?
